Powder Coated
Supamaxx’s powder coating process ensures maximum protection and reduced wear for the life of the bollard. Powder coated bollards first undergo premium zinc treatment which helps reduce the risk of corrosion before the safety yellow powder coat is applied. Additional colours are available upon request. This detailed process has been tested using quality control testing through a NATA certified laboratory and helps ensure our bollards powder coated finishes meet National and International quality assurance standards. The coating used on Supamaxx’s Bollards are accredited by Dulux and Interpon to ensure an even greater quality product.
Stainless Steel Sloping Top
Supamaxx’s Stainless Steel bollards are manufactured using Grade 304 Stainless Steel with the option of Marine Grade 316 available upon request. All Stainless Steel bollards are finished with a high grade satin linish finish. The combination of Grade 304 Stainless Steel and a satin linish creates a high quality and resistant product. This combination offers a smoother surface that in return provides greater resistance against Tea-Staining & Corrosion ultimately increasing the lifespan of our products.
Stainless Steel Flat Top
Galvanised
Supamaxx’s Galvanised Bollards are immersed in molten zinc. The bollard is completely covered and produces a uniformed coat of zinc and zinc-iron alloy layers. The Molten Zinc Bath provides a comprehensive covering that reduces ongoing wear of the metal surface. Bollards are quenched in a mild sodium dichromate solution that will prevent the onset of wet storage staining commonly seen during the early life of galvanizing.
